Introduction

Soybean trypsin inhibitor is a serine protease inhibitor, which can inhibit the activity of trypsin, chymotrypsin, and plasmin. The ability to inhibit trypsin is higher than that of chymotrypsin and plasmin. In addition, it can inhibit plasma kallikrein, clotting factor Xa, but can’t inhibit metalloproteinase, tissue kallikreins, acid protease, and sulfur-containing protease. Inhibitors and protease can be effectively combined in equimolar amounts to form stable complexes to block the active site of the enzyme. A suitable pH range for inhibiting trypsin is pH 6.0-10.0. Recombinant soybean trypsin inhibitor was expressed by recombinant E.coli and purified without animal-derived contamination and no other protease.

Instruction

Inhibitors and protease can be combined in equimolar amounts, the recommended pH for combination is pH>6.0 , inhibitors and protease won’t be combined when pH<5.0.
